I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, ext cab, step side, with a bed protector. I got a hard plastic tool box from Tractor Supply, and its not gonna go down in the bed without cutting the bed liner and I DONT wanna do that. So what I am gonna do is, raise the box up 6 inches, and bolt the back to the bed, and then add 2 6 inch pieces of 2x4 under each corner to the bottom of the bed. Will this work?

Been looking @ Wal-Mart - Home Depot - Lowes etc. It needs to be 96" / 8' long - Plastic is best, with the lid on the Top. Thanks for the Help !

Where can I find a great deal online for Waterloo WII12908B 20 Tote Tray Yellow Plastic Tool Box

I bought a tool set from "Great Neck", which contains a number of ratcheting wrenches inside their plastic box, and one tool on the side which allows to try it out. I want to find out if there is a way to set free that sample tool without destruction of the mechanism that holds that tool in place (while it is still moveable).

They need to be less than $5 each, plastic/metal and preferably lockable.
